The conditions for winter sports are ensured at all altitudes from November to April. 40.000 m³ artificial snow for the winter sports facilities. Spring in Reit im Winkl….

experience nature coming alive again. The first bees buzzing, the – after the long winter – brown grass becomes the freshest green again and everybody rejoices in the warming rays of the sun. Long walks in the forest, the first cup of coffee on a sun terrace, the view from the holiday apartment to the mountains….blue sky, white mountain tops and meadows full of flowers…enjoy the panoramic view in green, white and blue….the colours of Reit im Winkl.

And then the summer holidays arrive…

lush green everywhere. Meadows full of flowers in every colour, the entire village adorned with flowers, beautifully kept gardens and toward evening a pleasantly mild breeze driving away the heat of the day, a bustle arises in the alleys and beer gardens. On time for bed, temperatures in your holiday apartment drop to comfortable levels, because a good and restful night’s sleep is half the battle for your beautiful hike in the mountains on the next day. Alternately hiking through shady forests, crossing sunny mountain pastures and hiking past huts to your destination you really earned your dip into the cool water in the afternoon.

Autumn – the hiking season is here ….

for the third time nature changes its colours and not without reason we talk of the “golden month of October” in Reit im Winkl. Discover on long hikes and bicycle tours the unique sight of the beautiful colours of the autumn foliage illuminated by the low sun. The cattle are driven down from the mountain pastures of the Winklmoosalm and preparations are made for the chilly season. A time for leisure and rest which everybody badly needs after all the hustle and bustle. Enjoy the sight of the sunset on the balcony of your holiday apartment.
